Simone Forti and Cathy Weis made Maiden Voyage as collaborators in 2018 in a space that is so familiar to them both – 537 Broadway. Forti lived and worked at 537 for decades. Weis now resides, creates and presents there. Maiden Voyage combines movement, early video work, and some of the discoveries made during a week of moving together in the studio.
