Electric Haiku: Calm as Custard was commissioned by Dance Theater Workshop, the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts and the National Performance Network. This project is supported, in part, by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art. Additional support was provided by the Lambent Fellowship in the Arts of the Tides Foundation and the Bossak/Heilbron Charitable Foundation Inc. Electric Haiku: Calm as Custard was developed in part through a residency at the Atlantic Center for the Arts.

Ideas in Motion: The Body’s limit is a series of performances, symposia, and workshops exploring new technologies in dance. Participants include choreographers, dancers, and engineers from the US and Europe, representing a range of experimental works that cross new media with dance. Co-curated by Neil Breyer, Alissa Cardone, and Dedalus Wainwright, Ideas in Motion is a project of Boston Cyberarts Festival.

The Boston Cyberarts Festival has become an eagerly-anticipated part of the Boston-area arts and technology scene since it debuted in 1999. The Festival is the largest collaboration of arts organizations in New England and the only Festival in the world that encompasses all art forms, including both visual and performing arts, film, video, electronic literature, and public art. The 2007 Festival includes more than 60 exhibitions and events at locations around the Boston area nad takes place from April 20-May 6, 2007.

The Kelly Packowski Foundation proudly supports Cathy Weis Performances and the Boston Cyberarts Festival 2007. The Kelly Packowski MS Foundation was established in 2002 to aid in the fight agains Multiple Sclerosis. Working tirelessly to increase the awareness of the effects of Multiple Sclerosis, we will raise funds to directly impact the lives of those fighting this disease and to enhance our community’s understanding of Multiple Sclerosis in the New England area. By changing one life at a time, we will improve the quality of life for those courageous families battling Multiple Sclerosis.
