7:00 pm
The Fridman Gallery presents a concert series by three generations of composers and performers, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of E.A.T. and 9 Evenings.
Simone Forti will participate in this celebration through a presentation of Censor, performed by Cathy Weis and K.J. Holmes. In this piece, one person shakes a small saucepan with nails and screws in it, and the other sings a song of her choice. She can sing it twice.
There will also be a screening of two videos: Face Tunes and her latest, A Free Consultation.
The series is presented in association with ISSUE Project Room and Wave Farm.
